My Hon- and I went down to the water’s edge on the Puget Sound last night, near Olalla, and I got these pictures of the Lunar Eclipse, full blood moon.
This reminds me of Revelation 6:12-14,
“I looked when He broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became like blood; and the stars of the sky fell to the earth, as a fig tree casts its unripe figs when shaken by a great wind. The sky was split apart like a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.”
It was so beautiful, and I was surprised that in the last two pictures, I could see some of the stars. God’s creation is truly magnificent!

Psalm 119 is my all-time favorite, but when I get to the end of that Psalm I’m glad that there’s still more to read – especially Psalm 121:
“I will lift up my eyes to the mountains;
From where shall my help come?
My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.
He will not allow your foot to slip;
He who keeps you will not slumber.
He who keeps Israel Will neither slumber nor sleep.
The LORD is your keeper;
The LORD is your shade on your right hand.
The sun will not smite you by day,
Nor the moon by night.
The LORD will protect you from all evil;
He will keep your soul.
The LORD will guard your going out and your coming in
From this time forth and forever.
What an awesome God and Father! What do you need from Him today?
Do you need your foot to be steadied?
Do you need someone to keep watch while you get some good sleep tonight?
Are you concerned for Israel?
Are you concerned about the evil that rages all around?
What about your soul?
Have you given it to Jesus?
He loves you and will care for you and He is FAITHFUL FOREVER!
Today let’s lift up our eyes to the mountains because we know where our help comes from.
I pray that your Christmas Time is filled with the joy of the Lord and that you are looking forward to the coming of Jesus Christ.
Remember, the way He went back to heaven is the same way He will come again (Acts 1:11), so don’t stop watching for Him in the clouds!
