The #4 Way To Be Truly Thankful

Are you ready?  It’s coming!  The anticipation is building, so I want to give you the fourth of FIVE WAYS to be truly thankful on Thanksgiving Day!  Oh ya, one more thing, be sure to check out “November Thankfulness” if you haven’t done so.  You can find it for free just for you in the right side bar —–>  It’s the first book I have ever written, as well as watercolor illustrated and I’m very excited that I only have five more days to finish it!  I am so thankful for the hard work that has almost seen it’s completion and I’m thankful for being able to share it with you!

The Fourth Way to be Truly Thankful This Thanksgiving

It’s amazing how bringing the colors and smells of autumn into the house begins to prepare and excite you, your family, and your friends for Thanksgiving Day.

The fourth way to be truly thankful this Thanksgiving is to do some simple decorating around the house.  Make a center piece with your children for your dining room table with a pumpkin and some cut out maple leaves in browns, oranges, reds and yellows.  Add some glitter by gluing it to the pumpkin in a simple design and on the edges of the leaves.

Make a wreath for the front door and place some pumpkins and gourds of various sizes and colors on the steps.

Burn some candles in a safe place with the scent of pumpkin spice or apple pie.

Do you do major decorating at Thanksgiving time, or do you keep it simple?  I would love to hear from you in the comment section below.  Thank you for stopping by as we take time to prepare ourselves for Thanksgiving Day this week.  Tomorrow we will have the last of the FIVE WAYS to be truly thankful this Thanksgiving – I hope you will return to check it out and leave a message of your own 🙂

Happy Thanksgiving!
